THE ESSENTIALS

BEACHES in the area

Anse Soleil

Our favorite beach. A great snorkeling spot. A twenty minute walk from the house. There is a restaurant, "Chez Julien", overlooking the beach. It’s always nice to eat a grilled fish and enjoy a Seybrew.

Petite Anse

Very beautiful beach, definitely worth the detour! To get there, you have to go through the very luxurious Four Seasons hotel.

Anse Gaulette

It is on this beach that Lazare Picault was perhaps the first European to set foot on Mahé and to take possession of it for France in 1742. We appreciate this beach because it is large. You can have a long walk along the water and climb on the large granite rocks.

Anse Gouvernement

This beach is the little sister of Anse Soleil and Petite Anse. It is protected by a reef formed by rocks and has a small lagoon with clear water.
